Katie Bergeron Peglow, PT, MS

Katie Bergeron Peglow, PT, MS is a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist with hands-on experience with many wonderful children, ages newborn to 21, and their families. Katie received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. Four years later, she graduated from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA with her Master’s Degree in Pediatric Physical Therapy.

When asked “what is the thing you enjoy the most about helping parents or caregivers?” Katie said:“It gives me great satisfaction to be able to learn about each child’s specific needs and find the best solution. I love finding adaptive equipment that helps each child be more independent!”

From personal experience, Katie understands how a child with special needs can affect family life. Her younger sister, Carrie, is a young adult with Down syndrome. Katie’s family experience with Carrie has provided insight into the many challenges and rewards that go along with being blessed with a child with special needs.
