Terri Foster, MSOTR/L

Terri began her love of working with children and families with special needs at Boston College Campus School as an undergraduate work study student while pursuing her BS in Biology from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA. The students at Campus School inspired her to pursue a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy at Tufts University in Medford, MA. She has worked as an occupational therapist product consultant for the Adaptivemall.com since 2014.

Throughout her career as an OT, she has worked entirely with children and families in hospitals, outpatient clinics, schools and homes. She enjoys sharing the skills gained from these setting with families as they navigate through the purchase of equipment for their children. She hopes this will help improve children’s function and participation while also making life a little easier for families.

Terri works with the child’s caretaker and the therapist(s) to help them make the best equipment choice and improve outcomes. Terri has a knowledge base and access to professional resources that make this process easier. Although she is a licensed occupational therapist, she cannot act in the capacity of the child’s therapist(s). Collaboration with caretakers and healthcare professionals who know the child best helps Terri gain in-depth knowledge of the child’s medical history and abilities. Addressing and impacting how a child functions at home, school, etc. is her ultimate goal.
